What would traveling to africa be without some problems? What seems to be the obvious answer to me is that it would not be.
I made it so very close to traveling to and back without problems. All my bags made it everywhere. But the Johannesburg airport did me in one more time. We had some extra time and so our group went to dinner there. I ate something bad, and was stuck on an airplane for the next 11 hours with food poisoning. That was quite possibly the most unpleasant experience of my life. So when I arrived in amsterdam, I went to the first aid station and got a shot to stop the nasuea so I could get some fluids down. I stayed at the first aid station through my flight and had to rebook, which is why I am writing this from the Minneapolis/St Paul airport instead of the comfort of my home. I am feeling much better, though am still very drained from it. But I will be home soon, and can attack the tiredness from there.
Much love
kevin
